Lismore Campus Master Plan

An architectural render of the Lismore campus

Our bold new vision for the Southern Cross Learning Precinct

Connected, sustainable, visionary: the Southern Cross Learning Precinct (Gnibi Wandarahn) Master Plan will transform our Lismore campus into a thriving education, research and community precinct.

Launched in 2024, the Master Plan is a $140 million redevelopment that caters for learning at all stages of life. Refurbished university teaching spaces will sit alongside a state-of-the-art research hub and new cultural spaces that provide inspiration and connectivity for our Northern Rivers community.

Gnibi Wandarahn translated in Bundjalung language means Southern Cross Place of Learning. The redeveloped Lismore campus will be a place of learning for generations to come based on sustainable design principles and a thoughtful re-use of our existing infrastructure that will see the campus become carbon net zero by 2035.
